Lentil Soup
Recipe Introduction
GREAT way to use a leftover ham bone.
List of Ingredients
- 1 Ham Bone
- 1 lb lentils
- 1/2 bunch celery (sliced)
- 1 lb carrotts (sliced)
- 2 Tbsp minced dried onion
Instructions
- Cover Ham Bone with water. Add 1 lb of lentils. Boil for 2 hrs.
- Remove ham from the bone and set aside.
- Add chopped celery, carrotts and minced onion.
- Cook about 45 min. Add the Ham.
- *** you can add 2 ckn cubes if a little more flavor is needed (It depends on how flavorful the ham was)
