Maraschino Cherry Bars

List of Ingredients
CRUST
2 cups flour
1/3 cup sugar
3/4 cup butter, softened
FILLING
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/3 cup flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 jar maraschino cherries (10 oz) drained and chopped, reserve juice
1/2 cup chopped pecans
FROSTING
2 tablespoons butter, softened
2 1/2 cups powdered sugar
3 tablespoons reserved cherry juice (3 to 4)
3 tablespoons flaked coconut (3 to 4)
Recipe
Heat oven to 350°. In large bowl, combine first 3 ingredients; blend until crumbly. Press mixture into ungreased 13x9" pan. Bake at 350° for 12 to 15 minutes or until lightly browned. In small bowl, combine all filling ingredients; mix well. Pour over crust. Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool. In small bowl, combine all frosting ingredients except coconut; beat until light and fluffy.
Spread frosting over cooled bars; sprinkle with coconut. Cut into 36 bars
