    Asian Grilled Salmon

    Source of Recipe

    LyndaMc994 ~ PS WFD 01/08/01

    List of Ingredients

    1 large salmon fillet (1 1/2 to 2 lbs)

    ---Marinade---
1/3 cup soy sauce, low sodium -- or
    teriyaki sauce
1/3 cup orange juice, freshly squeezed
    1 tablespoon sesame oil
    1/4 cup honey
1 teaspoon crushed red pepper, optional

    Recipe

    1. For ease of marinating and grilling, cut salmon filet in half. Mix all marinade ingredients together and marinade salmon for 30-60 minutes.

    2. Grill salmon over medium coals about 5 minutes per side or until cooked to desired doneness.

    MY NOTES:

This marinade gives salmon a slightly sweet flavor that's really terrific. Don't marinate your salmon too long though.......30 minutes is good, but no more than 60 or you won't taste the salmon!

Also, if you have leftover cooked salmon you can roll it into a sushi roll with some sticky rice, grilled asparagus and a little spicy mayo or wasabi......yum!

This marinade also works well on chicken or pork. If you're using it for chicken or pork leave the meat, refrigerated, in the marinade for several hours.
