Grilled Chile-Lime Corn on the Cob

    Source of Recipe

    LyndaMc994

    List of Ingredients

    6 ears corn
    1/2 cup butter, or margarine
    3 tbsp lime juice
1/2 tsp lime peel, finely grated
Chili Powder, Cayenne Pepper or crushed red pepper (as desired)
    Garlic Salt, to taste

    Recipe

Pull back the husk on the corn (leaving in tack) and take the silky strings off. Mix margarine, lime juice (use a little less if using Brummel &Brown spread), peel & seasonings. Spread evenly onto each corn and pull up outer husks & twist tightly or tie with a piece of wire. Grill on open grill, over medium heat 20 - 30 minutes, depending on corn size. If you forget to leave the husks on and totally clean the corn you can use foil. Take a piece of foil & wrap tightly around the corn -- twisting ends tightly. Serves 6.

    Notes:
Save leftover corn -- just cut off the cob and store in a ziploc bag. The unique flavor the corn has is a great way to perk up any soup or salad!
