    CROCKPOT: To Die For Roast

    Source of Recipe

    WFD Board 9/98

    Recipe Introduction

The Bottom Line......Elegant and loaded with flavor, you can't go wrong with this crock pot recipe! This definitely is to die for! Lynda

    List of Ingredients

1 beef roast, any cut (3-4 1/2 lbs)
    1 package Brown gravy mix
1 package Good Seasons Italian salad dressing mix
1 package Hidden Valley Ranch Buttermilk dressing mix
    1/2 cup water

    Recipe

Place beef roast in crockpot. Mix together the dried mixes together in a bowl and sprinkle over the roast. Pour the water around the roast. Cook on LOW for 7-9 hours. Potatoes and baby carrots may be added to this midway, will be very flavorful!

    MY NOTES:

Lynda's notes: 05/03/03 I used about a 4 - 4 1/2 lb roast for this. Put it in frozen around 10 AM, set on AUTO and it was done around 6 PM. About 1/2 way through I placed 1 bag of baby carrots and 2 cans new whole potatoes around the roast. Made a fair amount of gravy, but could have used more. End result was................AWESOME! A definite keeper!
