Apple Butter Cake

1 (18.5 oz) box yellow cake mix
3/4 cup water
1/3 cup oil
3 eggs
1/2 cup apple butter
2 tsp cinnamon
1 (22 oz) can apple pie filling
1 cup chopped pecans


Recipe

Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray a 9x9-inch baking pan with non-stick vegetable spray.

In a large mixing bowl, combine cake mix, water, oil, eggs, apple butter and cinnamon; mix until well blended. Pour into prepared baking pan.

Bake for 55 minutes or until a tester inserted in the center comes out clean.

In a medium bowl, combine apple pie filling and pecans; spread over the top of the cake. Bake for 5 minutes. Serve warm or cold topped with whipped cream, if desired. Serves 16
