    2 pounds powdered sugar
    1 can sweetened condensed milk
    1 stick margarine or butter
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    1 or 2 jars maraschino cherries

    Drain cherries overnight in sink. Mix first four ingredients. Refrigerate overnight. Roll fondant into small balls and insert cherries. Place on cookie sheet in refrigerator and leave again overnight. In a double boiler, melt dipping chocolate/chocolate almond bark. To a full brick of chocolate almond bark, add 6 to 12 ounces of semi-sweet chocolate chips.

    Dip covered cherries into melted chocolate using fork, tap on side of pan to eliminate some of the chocolate and place on plastic wrap to cool.
