List of Ingredients
1. For crust, combine:
1 1/4 c. graham cracker crumbs
3 T. sugar
1/3 c. melted margarine or butter
2. Press into a 9" or 10" springform pan, pressing across bottom and slightly up the sides of the pan.
3. Bake for 8-10 minutes in a preheated 325 degree (F) oven.
4. Remove from oven and let cool.
5. Increase oven temperature to 350 degrees (F).
6. Cream together:
2 (8 oz. each) packages of cream cheese, softened
1 c. sugar
7. Add:
16 oz. sour cream
1 t vanilla
8. Mix well.
9. Add, one at a time:
3 eggs
10. Blend well after each addition.
11. Pour batter into prepared crust in springform pan.
12. Bake at 350 degrees (F) for 40-45 minutes. (The center of the cheesecake will still be jiggly.)
13. Turn off oven.
14. Leave cheesecake in the warm oven for one hour.
15. Remove from oven and let cool.
16. Refrigerate.
17. Serve Cheesecake plain, or with fruit topping of your choice.
Makes 8-12 servings.
