    Creamy Chocolate Almond Fondue

    2 milk chocolate candy bars (7 oz) broken into pieces
    3 ounces white chocolate (Ghirardelli) chopped
    1 jar marshmallow fluff (7 oz)
    3/4 cup whipping cream, half-and-half, or light cream
    1/4 c toasted almonds, finely chopped
    3 tbsp amaretto, or 1 tbsp almond extract - opt
    1 pound cake, homemade or Sara Lee, cubed
    Assorted fruit, cut into bite-size pieces

    In a 3 1/2 or 4 quart crockpot combine milk chocolate, white baking bar, marshmallow fluff, and almonds. Cover; cook on low-heat setting for 2 to 2 3/4 hours or until chocolate melts. Stir until smooth. If desired, stir in amaretto.

    To serve: Spear cake cubes or fruit with fondue forks; dip into chocolate mixture. Makes about 4 cups.
