    Hawaiian-Style Corned Beef & Cabbage

    1 can corned beef brisket, canned
    1 medium onion -- sliced thin
    1 tablespoon vegetable oil
    1 medium cabbage -- (green) sliced thin
    1/4 cup catsup
    1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
    black pepper -- to taste

    Recipe



    Cook corned beef and onion in oil over medium heat until onion becomes translucent. Add remaining ingredients and cook, stirring often, until cabbage is tender. Serve with steamed (or sticky) rice.

    NOTES :
    Lynda's Notes: One night (quite by accident) I added a tablespoon of brown sugar to this recipe & have been ever since! I also spray my pan/pot with olive oil instead of the 1 tbsp of vegetable oil. This is 2 thumbs up with DH!
