    EASY Crockpot Venison Roast

    This also makes a great stew. Just cut the meat into bite-size pieces as you would for any stew.

    List of Ingredients




    1 Venison roast (any cut)
    2 cans condensed mushroom soup*
    1 packet dry onion soup mix
    1/4 cup red wine **
    Carrots, potatoes, onions - cut up into pieces

    Recipe



    Mix mushroom soup, wine and dry soup mix in bottom of crockpot. Place roast on mixture and cook on low for 10-12 hours. Remove roast and slice. Serve over rice or noodles with gravy from crockpot.

    *Cream of celery can be subbed
    **You may want to add a bit more wine, water or beef broth if gravy is too thick for you or not enough. Check half-way through cooking time.
