    List of Ingredients




    Marinade
    1/3 cup maple syrup
    1/3 cup dijon mustard
    2 Tbsp molasses
    2 Tbsp cider vinegar
    1 tsp ground cumin, optional
    salt and pepper, to taste

    4 Center-cut pork chops, 1" thick

    Recipe



    Combine marinade ingredients in a bowl. Add chops and set aside for 30 minutes to marinate, turning twice.

    Preheat oven to 350°F. Place chops in a shallow roasting pan to fit. Bake 30-40 minutes, brushing occasionally with the marinade, turning once. Divide among 4 plates and serve. Serves 4

    LYNDA NOTES: 8/2/02 - Grilled the pork chops instead of baking. Mixed marinade ingredients and held some back for brushing on chops when almost done. Marinated chops for about 40 minutes in a Ziploc bag. Grilled over medium-hot coals. (not sure how long DH cooked) Chops were VERY tender, moist inside & caramelized around the edges............A keeper!
