MUFFINS: Very Vanilla Muffins

This recipe was shared by a wonderful lady in the old Moms Online folder on AOL (thanks Dee!)....
These originally came from an old Mr. Food Magazine. I've added many different things to change them around from the original. I've added dried cranberries or blueberries and changed the yogurt from vanilla to lemon. All have worked very well. The recipe posted is without any changes from the original Mr. Food recipe.
List of Ingredients
1 1/4 c flour
1/2 c sugar
2 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1 egg, beaten
1 (8oz)container low-fat vanilla yogurt
1 tbsp vanilla extract
6 tbsp butter, melted
Recipe
Preheat oven to 400*. In a large bowl, stir together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt. In a medium bowl, stir together egg, yogurt, butter and vanilla; pour over dry ingredients. Spoon batter into greased muffin cups. Bake muffins about 20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Remove muffins to a wire rack to cool. Makes 12 muffins
