    2 cups flour
    1/3 cup sugar
    1 tablespoon baking powder
    1 teaspoon salt
    1/2 cup chocolate chips
    1/2 cup butter
    3/4 cup heavy cream
    1 egg
    1 banana, mashed
    3 tbsp sugar

    Recipe



    Preheat the oven to 425°F. Mix the flour with 1/3 cup of the sugar, the baking powder, salt, and the chocolate chips. Add the butter.

    In a small bowl, whisk the cream and egg until frothy, add the mashed banana. Make a well in the centre and pour the flour all at once. Mix just until the flour disappears and a soft dough forms. Spread in a circle on a greased cookie sheet, or spread in round 8" or 9" cake pan greased. Sprinkle with remaining 3 tablespoons sugar and bake about 15minutes or until golden brown. Cut in wedges and serve warm.
