This was shared by a dear online friend who has since passed away. :(


List of Ingredients




1 pound fettucine
1 stick butter, NOT margarine
1/2 pint heavy cream
1 cup Parmesan cheese (per Michelle use the canned stuff for some reason the flavor comes out better than freshly grated, go figure!)

Recipe



Cook fettucine according to package directions. Drain. Cut butter into 6 or 8 pieces and put in bottom of serving bowl. Put drained fettucine into serving bowl. Pour heavy cream and Parmesan over the top and mix well, until butter melts.


MICHELE NOTES............An extremely easy recipe for Fettucine Alfredo, but it is also Extremely Fattening! So be forewarned. It is my dh's favorite dinner.

If anyone figures out the fat content, please don't let me know. It would ruin all the fun!
