Crushed Tomato Pizza Sauce

List of Ingredients
1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
1 tsp dried basil or 2 tbsp minced fresh basil (opt)
1 tsp dried oregano or 1 tbsp minced fresh oregano (opt)
1 tbsp granulated garlic powder, or 5 cloves fresh garlic, minced or pressed
2 tbsp red wine vinegar and freshly squeezed lemon juice, or a combination
1 tsp sea salt, or to taste
Recipe
In a bowl stir together the crushed tomatoes, pepper, basil, oregano, garlic powder, red wine vinegar and lemon juice. Stir in 1/2 teaspoon of salt, adding more to taste.
Store in a tightly covered container in the refrigerator for up to one week. Makes 4 cups.
