You don't need a deep fryer for these babies!
List of Ingredients
2 onions, peeled
3/4 cup all purpose flour
1/2 cup fat-free egg product
3/4 cup fat-free bread crumbs
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp dried basil
1/2 tsp powdered garlic
1/2 tsp powdered onion
1/2 tsp saltRecipe
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Spray a baking sheet once with cooking spray. Set aside. Slice onions widthwise and break apart. Line up 3 bowls. Into the first, put the flour. Into the second, put the egg product. In the third, mix together the bread crumbs, herbs, spices and salt. Dip each onion ring into the egg product and then into the flour, then again into the egg and finally into the breadcrumbs. Place on prepared baking sheet. Bake until crispy and light brown. Serves 4
