    List of Ingredients


    • 1 lb Ground beef
    • 1 Box Rice a Roni Beef flavor (any will do)
    • 1 10 oz can Ro-Tel diced tomatoes
    • 1-2 Tbsp Butter
    • 1 3/4 Cup water
    • 1 Tbsp dried minced onion
    • 1 tsp garlic powder
    • 1 tsp seasoned salt
    • 1 4 oz. can mushroom stems & pieces (optional)
    • 2-3 handfulls shredded sharp cheddar cheese


    Instructions


    1. Brown ground beef in large frying pan along with mushrooms, garlic, onion and seasoned salt. Drain
    2. Return to heat. Add water, Ro-Tel tomatoes, butter, season packet from Rice a Roni & stir.
    3. Stir in rice, bring to boil, turn heat to simmer, put lid on pan so it slightly vents for 20 minutes. Stirring 2-3 times.
    4. After water is absorbed into rice, cover mixture with cheddar cheese, turn burner off, cover with lid and allow cheese to melt.
    5. Ready when cheese is melted.
    6. DO NOT FORGET THE BUTTER!
