1 Pound or so boneless beef round steak, sirloin steak or other lean meat cut into 1/4" strips across the grain.
2 or 3 Cups broccoli florets
    3 Medium carrots, sliced
    3 Stalks celery, sliced
1 Handful sugar snap peas (can use frozen/thawed)
    1/4 Cup chopped onion

1 Small can mushroom stems & pieces (with 1/2 the liquid), Can add water chestnuts (un-drained) if you have them.
Enough hot cooked rice for 4-6 servings per package directions.

    Recipe

In a bowl, combine cornstarch, sugar, soy sauce and wine, wisk until smooth. Add beef and toss to coat; let marinade for a couple hours. In a large skillet, stir-fry broccoli, carrots, pea pods and onion in 1 tablespoon oil for 1 minute. Stir in mushrooms and/or water chestnuts. Cover and simmer for 4 minutes; remove to a separate bowl and keep warm. In the same skillet, stir-fry beef in remaining oil and some of the remaining marinade juice until meat reaches desired doneness. Return vegetables to pan; toss with meat. Serve over rice.

If you don't have wine, use apple juice or water.
