Slovenian Style Goulash

List of Ingredients

1# beef round steak, cut up
1 onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 C shortening
1 1/4 C water
3/4 C ketchup
2 T worcestershire sauce
1 T brown sugar
2 T paprika
1/2 t dry mustard
dash of red pepper sauce
1/4 C water
flour



Recipe

Brown beef, onion and garlic in shortening until beef is browned and onions are translucent. Add 1 1/4 C water, ketchup, worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, paprika and mustard. Boil until beef is tender. Mix 1/4 C water with flour to make thickener. Serve over egg noodles.
