    Excerpted from 'Cocktail parties, Straight Up!'

    List of Ingredients




    1/2 cup sour cream
    3 oz. cream cheese
    10 slices bacon, plus 1 slice for garnish, cooked until crisp
    5 tbsp. crumbled blue cheese
    1 garlic clove, minced
    1/2 tsp. lemon juice
    1/4 tsp. Tabasco® sauce
    1/4 tsp. celery seeds
    Celery sticks for dipping

    Recipe



    Combine ingredients.

    Throw the celery seeds in a food processor and blend until smooth.

    Transfer to a serving bowl and chill in the refrigerator until party time.

    Garnish with crumbled bacon.

    Serve with celery sticks, sliced on the diagonal with any tough strings removed.
