    Rib Sauce & Recipe from Amy

    List of Ingredients

    1 cup Tomato Juice
    1/4 cup ketchup
    1/2 c water
    6 Tbsp. brown sugar (I use more than this, I like sweet BBQ)
    1 Tbsp.paprika
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    1/4 tsp. chili powder
    1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
    1/8 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1/4 cup cider vinegar

    Recipe

    Now after all spices added taste and adjust the sweet or hot taste to your liking. Now here is the recipe I always use with this awesome BBQ sauce

    BBQ western Ribs:
    3 lbs. western ribs with fat trimmed

    Arrange ribs in large baking dish and sprinkle each rib with real juice from a lemon or two. Be sure to juice each and every rib now! Then Chop a large onion and put on top of each rib generously. Bake at 450 for 30 minutes. Take out of oven and pour off extra juices. (Be sure not to miss this step, I did once and they didn’t turn out as good)
    Pour BBQ sauce over ribs after sauce has simmered for 15 minutes. Turn oven down to 350 and bake for 1.5-2 hours long. I usually cover for first hour then uncover.
