Beef & Rice Casserole

List of Ingredients
1 lb. ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
1/2 cup green pepper or green chile, chopped
2 cups cooked rice
1 pint canned tomatoes, not drained
1½ cups whole kernel corn
1 sm. can sliced ripe olives, drained
6 slices bacon, cooked & crumbled
2 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. green tabasco sauce
1 tsp. salt
1½ cups grated cheddar cheese
1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
1-2 tbsp. melted butter or margarine
Recipe
Brown beef, onion & green pepper in a skillet over medium heat until meat is cooked through; add rice, tomatoes, corn, olives, bacon and seasonings. Bring to boiling, remove from heat and add 1 cup of the grated cheese, stir until cheese is melted.
Transfer mixture to greased baking dish and sprinkle with remaining cheese. Toss bread crumbs with butter and sprinkle over cheese. Bake uncovered at 350° for 15-20 minutes or until cheese topping melts.
