    Crockpot Beef & Brats

    List of Ingredients

    1 lb boneless beef round steak 1" thick
    4 ounces uncooked spicy bratwurst cut into 3/4" slices
    1 tablespoon cooking oil
    1 small onion sliced and separated into rings
    2 tablespoons quick cooking tapioca
    1 teaspoon dried thyme
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    1/4 teaspoon black pepper
    1 14.5oz can chunky tomatoes with garlic and spices
    2 cups hot cooked rice

    Recipe

    Trim fat from beef, cut into 4 serving size pieces. In a large skillet brown beef and brats until brown on all sides in oil. Drain off fat.

    In a 3.5-4 qt Crock Pot, place onion, sprinkle with tapioca, thyme, salt and pepper. Pour undrained tomatoes over onions, add beef and brats.

    Cook on low 10-12 hours (No timings for high) Serve over noodles.
