Glazed Flank Steak

List of Ingredients
2 pounds flank steak
1/3 cup dry red wine
1/4 cup orange juice
3 tbsp. lime juice
1/4 cup honey
2 tbsp. cider vinegar
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tbsp. light olive or vegetable oil
1 tsp. minced garlic
1/2 tsp. bottled hot sauce
1/2 tsp. grated orange zest (optional)
1/2 tsp. dried thyme leaves
dash of fresh ground pepperRecipe
Combine all ingredients except for the steak and transfer to a zip top bag. Add the steak and refrigerate for at least 8 hours- turning bag occasionally.
Remove steak from bag and allow to come to room temperature while cooking marinade over medium heat until it turns syrupy and mahogany colored, about 10 minutes. Stir constantly.
Brush both sides of steak with marinade. Grill or broil steak 4 inches from the heat to desired degree of doneness. Five to six minutes per side should produce a medium-rare
steak.
