Upside Down Meatloaf

List of Ingredients
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup ketchup
1 1/2 pounds ground beef
1 3/4 cups oats (I took a guess and used quick cooking)
3/4 cup buttermilk
2 whole large eggs
1 teaspoon salt
1 onion, chopped (DH said it was too much onion for him, so next time, I'm going to cut it down to 1/2 onion and chop it a bit finer)
1/4 teaspoon gingerRecipe
1. Preheat oven to 350. Lightly grease a 5x9 loaf pan. (Oops, forgot this; but it came out OK with a couple of thumps.)
2. On the bottom of the pan, press bown sugar; spread ketchup over sugar.
3. In a large mixing bowl, combine remaining ingredients. Make a loaf out of mixture and place carefully on top of sugar/ketchup mixture in loaf pan.
4. Bake 45 minutes to an hour or until juice run clear.
