    Recipe Introduction

It's a dessert-drink, palette-cleansing, just plain good treat. I made it for my kids without alcohol.

    List of Ingredients

1 quart cranberry juice or a blend
1 small can frozen limeade, thawed
1 pint good Southern sour mash (Jack Daniels)
    Sprite or 7-up to top

    Recipe

Mix the first 3 ingredients in a 2 quart pitcher and top with Sprite to fill. Place pitcher in the freezer. Break up the slush with a metal or wooden spoon every 1/2 hour for about 2 hours. Keep busting it up until it is no longer liquid, but it will never freeze solid with the bourbon and the soda in there, so the leftovers can be left in the freezer (provided you have any). To serve, break it up good and dish it into rocks glasses and offer with a spoon.
