Aunt Fannie's Raisin Almond Oat Loaf

List of Ingredients
2 cups quick oats (3 minute, not instant)
1 cup plain flour
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon cinnamon
� cup sliced almonds
� cup raisins (I soaked mine in water then drained)
� cup brown sugar
� cup oil
1 cup milk
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
� teaspoon butter flavor (optional)Recipe
Mix dry ingredients and wet ingredients separately. Combine wet and dry ingredients and pour into a greased loaf pan. Bake at 325 to 350 for about 1 hour. (Can use two smaller pans and bake about 40 to 45 minutes)
If you want to please Uncle Jimbo, use � cup melted butter instead of oil in recipe, butter the bread when it comes out of the oven and serve with at least a pint of milk.
