GLAZE:
1 cup powdered sugar
4 tsp. milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla
(may double the glaze, if desired)
Recipe
Combine 1 cup flour, cocoa, sugar, salt & yeast in a mixing bowl; stir to blend. Add shortening, water and egg; mix 30 seconds on low speed; turn to high speed and mix 3 minutes. Knead in remaining flour until a soft dough forms - 3 to 5 minutes.
Place in a greased bowl, turning over to grease the top of the dough too, and cover; allow to rise in a warm draft-free location until double in bulk. Punch down, let rest 10 minutes.
Roll dough to about 12" wide and brush with melted margarine. Combine sugar, cinnamon & chopped pecans; sprinkle evenly over dough. Roll up and seal edge. Slice about 1" think slices and place on greased pan. Let rise again until almost doubled; 30-45 minutes. Bake at 375° for 25-30 minutes.
Mix glaze ingredients together and drizzle over rolls while they're still hot from the oven.
