1 pkg active dry yeast {1/4 oz}
2 1/2 C warm milk {110°~115°}
1/3 C honey
1/4 C butter, melted {or margarine}
2 tsp salt
8~8 1/2 C A/P Flour
Recipe
In lrg mix bowl, dissolve yeast in warm milk. Add honey, butter, salt & 5 C flour; beat until smooth. Add enough remaining flour to form a soft dough.
Turn onto floured surface; knead until smooth & elastic; about 6~8min’s.
Place in greased bowl, turning once to grease top. Cover and let rise in a warm place til doubled; about 1hr.
Punch dough down & shape into two loaves.
Place in greased 9x5x3” loaf pans. Cover and let rise til doubled, about 30min’s.
Bake @ 375 for 30~35min’s or til golden brown. Cover w/foil if necessary to prevent over~browning.
Removed from pans & cool on wire racks.
