Quick Yeast Buns

My mom's recipe, who got it from my aunt.
List of Ingredients
2 pkgs. active dry yeast
3 cups all-purpose flour
2/3 cup non-fat dry milk
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
6 tbsp. oil or melted shortening
3 well-beaten eggs
1½ - 2 cups warm water (as needed for soft but not sticky dough)

Combine first eight ingredients and blend until smooth. Gradually knead in remaining flour until smooth & elastic. Let rise until double in bulk; gently deflate dough, shape into buns & place on greased baking sheet; let rise again & bake about 18 minutes in preheated 350° oven. (For fairly large hamburger buns, make 'em about the size of a lime or small lemon; for hot dog buns, shape accordingly. These make nice dinner rolls too - just use smaller pieces & place close together in a square pan, instead of on a baking sheet.)
