    Buttermilk Pecan Pie

    This is a very unusual twist on an old classic buttermilk pie.

    List of Ingredients




    4 eggs
    1 ½ C sugar
    1 Tbls flour
    ¾ C buttermilk
    ½ C melted butter
    ½ tsp vanilla
    dash of salt
    1 C pecan halves
    1 9~inch partially baked pie crust

    Recipe



    Preheat the oven to 300°. Beat the eggs & sugar until mixed. Blend in the flour, buttermilk, butter, vanilla, and salt. Beat briefly until smooth. Add the pecans & pour into pie shell. Bake until done, about 30 min’s. Serve hot or cool on a rack.
