    Biscuit Topped Beef Noodle Cassrole

    List of Ingredients




    1-lb hamburger(I use gr. sirloin)
    1/2 large onion, diced
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/2 to 1 cup frozen peas
    1- 4oz can mushroom stems and pieces, drained
    2 pkgs. Lipton beef noodle side dish(not soup!)
    biscuit topping

    In a large skillet, brown meat and onion, using salt and pepper to season.
    At the same time, prepare Lipton noodles according to directions, but STOP COOKING ONCE NOODLES ARE TENDER! DO NOT THICKEN!
    Drain excess grease from meat.
    Spray an 8X8 glass cooking dish with Pam. Pour meat, Lipton noodles, peas and mushrooms in dish. Mix thoroughly.
    Biscuit topping: Using Bisquick, follow directions for drop biscuits, and spoon mixture over casserole.
    Bake in a 400 degree oven for about 20 mins, or until biscuits are golden brown.
    Serve with beef or brown gravy to pour over biscuits if desired.
    Note: I leave the peas frozen until I put them in the casserole.
