Italian Meatball Sandwich Casserole

I found this recipe on a website and my husband and I absolutely loved it, it's a favorite with kids!!
List of Ingredients
1/3 c. chopped green onions
1/4 c. Italian-style dried bread crumbs
3 T. grated Parmesan cheese
1 lb. Ground beef
1 (1 lb) loaf Italian-style bread, cut in 1" cubes
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 tsp. Italian seasoning
1/4 tsp. ground pepper
2 c. grated mozzarella cheese
1 (28 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce
1 c. water
2 cloves garlic, mincedRecipe
Preheat oven to 400°.
Mix onions, bread crumbs, parmesan & ground beef. Roll into 1" balls and place in a baking pan. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until beef is no longer pink. Reduce oven to 350°.
Arrange the bread cubes in a single layer in an ungreased 9x13 baking dish. Mix together thecream cheese, mayonnaise, Italian seasoning & black pepper until smooth. Spread (as best you can) this mixture over the bread cubes. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup of the mozzarella cheese.
In a large bowl, mix together spaghetti sauce, water & garlic. Gently stir in meatballs. Pour over bread & cheese mix. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarello on top.
Bake at 350° for 30 minutes or so, until heated through.
