List of Ingredients
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened
1 egg, beaten
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1-1/4 cups flour, divided
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
1-1/2 cups candied fruit, chopped
3/4 cup dates, chopped
1/2 cup pecans, chopped
1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
1/2 cup hazelnuts
Recipe
Preheat oven to 325°. In bowl of an electric mixer on medium speed, cream brown sugar and butter. Add beaten egg and vanilla extract and beat until well blended. In a small bowl, whisk together 1 cup flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt. Add flour mixture to butter-egg mixture and mix well. In a small bowl, stir together remaining 1/4 cup flour with candied fruit and dates. Stir candied fruit-date mixture, pecans and walnuts into dough. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls on parchment-paper lined baking sheets, top each cookie with a hazelnut and bake 15 minutes. Remove from oven, transfer to a wire rack and cool completely.
