    This recipe takes two days to prepare so plan ahead.

    List of Ingredients




    3-5 lb. brisket
    1 large onion,chopped
    2 chipotles in adobo,minced
    3/4 cup dark beer
    2 Tbsp. tomato paste
    1/4 cup cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 cup brown sugar
    3 garlic cloves,minced
    8 red potatoes,quartered
    1 1/2 cups baby carrots

    Recipe



    Place brisket in crockpot with the onions.

    Mix the chiles,beer,tomato paste, cinnamon, pepper, salt, sugar and garlic.Pour over the brisket.

    Cover and cook on low for 10-12 hours.Cool to room temp and refrigerate overnight.

    Next morning,skim the fat from the liquid and trim the fat off the brisket.Add the potatoes,carrots and brisket to the crockpot and cook on low for 8-10 hours.
