1 good sized, fairly lean chuck roast.....doesn't matter what kind as long as it's short-grained
3-4 c. water
5 beef boullion cubes
1 tsp. minced Garlic
1 tsp. Italian Seasoning
I like to add minced onion and a bit more garlic
Recipe
Put all of it in the crockpot and let it cook, it's better the longer that it cooks too. The juice is a wonderful au jus for french dip sandwiches.
