1 lb. bulk pork sausage (I use Italian for more oomph)
1 lb. ground beef
2 15 1/2 oz. can red kidney beans, drained
1 28 oz. can tomatoes (I used the diced)
1 c. ch. onion
1 c. ch. gr. pepper
1 c. sliced celery
1 6 oz. can tomato paste
2- 3 cloves garlic, minced
2 t. salt
2 t. chili powder (I increase this to at least 1 T.)
Recipe
In skillet, cook sausage and gr, beef until just browned.
Drain off excess fat. Transfer meat to crockpot. Stir
in remaining ingredients. Cover and cook on low heat
for 8-10 hrs.
