    Coffee-free Low-fat Tiramisu

    Source of Recipe

    Terri~(terribil)

    List of Ingredients

    1 cup 1% low-fat milk, divided
    1 envelope unflavored gelatin (envelope)
    3 envelopes Dream Whip mix
    4 ounces fat-free cream cheese
    1/2 cup sugar
    1 Entenmann’s Fat-free Golden Loaf
    1/2 cup chocolate liqueur
    1 tablespoon sugar
    cocoa, for dusting

    Recipe

    1. Line rimmed cookie sheet with wax paper. Separate out 3 tablespoons of milk. Combine this with the gelatin. Let set 5-10 minutes, then microwave at 50% power for 2 minutes or until gelatin dissolves. Let cool 15 minutes.

    2. Pour remaining milk into mixing bowl. Add Dream whip envelopes one at a time, beating 2 minutes after each addition, until mixture is light and fluffy.

    3. In a separate bowl, beat together cream cheese and sugar. Add gelatin mixture and beat until smooth and creamy.

    4. While beating Dream Whip on high, add cream cheese mixture in thirds, beating after each addition. Mix about 1 minute or until well-blended and smooth. Set aside while preparing cake.

    5. Cut ends off pound cake. Cut remaining loaf into 10 slices. If using Entenmann’s, cut each slice into 3 pieces. If using homemade, cut each slice in half.

    6. Brush liqueur over each cake finger. Turn over and brush with liquor.

    7. In an 8x8 baking dish, place half of the cake fingers side by side, leaving about 1/4” between fingers. Cover fingers with half of the fluffy cheese mixture and spread carefully with a spatula until smooth and flat. Arrange the remaining fingers on the cheese mixture the same way as the first layer, but perpendicular to the first layer. Cover cake with remaining cheese mixture and smooth.

    8. Put a couple of teaspoons of cocoa in a fine sieve and tap it over top to dust with an even coating. Cover and chill at least 3 hours so that it sets.
