    List of Ingredients

    1 C whole milk
    1 C heavy whipping cream
    ½ C sugar
    ½ tsp vanilla
    pinch of salt
1 13-oz coffee can with tight fitting lid
1 39-oz coffee can with tight fitting lid

    OPTIONAL:
½ C chopped fruit or whole berries
    ¼ C crushed candy bars

    Recipe

Pour milk & cream into lrg bowl and stir. Add sugar, vanilla & salt to mixture and mix well. Add optional ingredients, if desired.

Pour mixture into the small coffee can; fill to within 2-inches of top. Snap on lid & seal with tape to reduce leaks.

Put the small can inside the larger can. Fill the space between the cans, alternating 1 C ice & 2 Tblsp rock salt.

Place lid on the large can; seal lid to prevent leaks. Tell the kids to roll the can nonstop along a sidewalk, patio or other level area for about 20 min’s.

Open lrg can carefully to prevent spilling; rinse off the inside can before removing the tape to keep salt out of the ice cream.
