    List of Ingredients




    26 Oreo cookies, finely crushed (about 2 cups crumbs). Use a sealed bag and a rolling pin for best and fastest results

    1/4 cup margarine or butter, melted

    1 quart coffee ice cream, softened (I used chocolate/vanilla)

    1 1/2 cups chocolate fudge sauce

    Prepared whipped topping and additional whole Oreos, for garnish

    Mix cookie crumbs and margarine or butter in a small bowl; press on bottom and side of a 9 inch pie plate. Spread ice cream into prepared crust. Top with fudge sauce. Freeze 6 hours or until firm. Serve garnished with whipped topping and additional whole cookies.

    MY NOTES: I used chocolate and vanilla ice cream, but would probably use only vanilla next time. I bet any ice cream flavor would work.

    I only had Hershey's syrup and subbed that for the fudge sauce. It was too much chocolate for me, and I like chocolate. Think I'd splurge on the fudge sauce next time, but only use a portion anyway.

    I also froze the whipped topping right on the pie. That way it tastes like a Carvel ice cream cake. This tasted the BEST after a full 24 hours in the freezer.
