Chinese Chicken Salad from Lani

fry 10 wontons in oil, set aside
dressing:
4 Tbls Sugar
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp MSG(optional)
1/2 tsp blk pepper
Stir over low heat until dissolved. Add 1/2 c salad oil.
set aside.
Chicken:
Boil 5-6 chicken breast in water with about 6 slices of fresh ginger. Shred chicken then add:
1 Tbs shoyu
1 Tbs sugar
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tsp garlic salt
Toss with lettuce and crushed wontons; add dressing and top with slivered almonds. (don't add dressing until ready to serve or the wontons will get soggy.)
