Italian Macaroni & Cheese

List of Ingredients
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup chicken broth
1 - 1 1/2 lbs. bulk Italian hot or sweet sausage
2 8-oz. pkgs sliced mushrooms
1 box penne pasta
2 bags shredded 5 cheese (12 oz) (dairy case)
1/2 cup grated romano cheese
Recipe
Fry the bulk sausage until it is done, into little pieces, stir until it breaks apart and simmer it in 1/4 cup of extravirgin olive oil.
Remove the sausage and add a little more olive oil to the pan, add the mushrooms and simmer until almost done. Add the cream and the chicken broth and stir in about 1 - 1-1/2 tbsp. of flour to thicken. Simmer on low-med heat; stir as it will thicken nicely.
Cook the penne pasta and drain in colander; combine 1 bag of shredded 5 cheese and the 1/2 cup of grated Romano. Stir into thickened mixture. Add pasta and mix well, then put into a 13x9 glass baking dish and ad the remaining bag of shredded cheese on top all over the mixture.
Put into a preheated oven on 350 for about 18 minutes or until the cheese on the top is melted.
