Pasta & Gorgonzola by Michele

Recipe Introduction
Sinful---totally fattening...and delicious. I make it rarely because it's so chock full of yummy, fattening cheese and bacon!
I served it with salad, and small roasting chickens we did up in the webber.
List of Ingredients
1 pound penne pasta
5-6 strips of bacon
1 onion-sliced very thin
1 red bell pepper- sliced very thin
1-1/2 tsp fresh Garlic
Crumbled Gorgonzola Cheese( about half a cup)
1 good-sized chunk Italian Fontina cheese - cut into small pieces
Chicken broth
Recipe
Cook pasta....
While cooking pasta Fry bacon until crisp. Remove bacon from pan, and saute onions, peppers, some fresh garlic( I used a big teaspoon out of the jar), salt and pepper. Saute until veggies are soft. ( not mushy)
When pasta is done- drain and return to pot. Add cheese, veggies and a splash or two of chicken brother. Stir, cover and let melt. Crumble bacon and mix in just before serving.
