¼ cup egg substitute (I used a regular egg)
1 cup bread crumbs
¼ cup Parmesan cheese
½ tsp onion powder
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp oregano
1 lb chicken breasts
1 ½ cups pasta sauce
mozzarella cheese (sliced or grated?use however much you like)
Recipe
Preheat oven to 425º. Lightly spray 9x13 inch baking dish with cooking spray. Pour egg into a small bowl. In a separate bowl, combine bread crumbs, 2 tbsp Parmesan cheese, onion powder, garlic powder, and oregano and mix well. Dip each chicken breast into egg; roll in bread crumbs and coat on all sides. Place chicken breasts in baking dish and bake 30-35 minutes, until golden brown and cooked through. Pour pasta sauce over chicken and top with mozzarella. Reduce oven temperature to 375º and cook until sauce is hot and cheese is melted (about 5-10 minutes). Serve with pasta, garlic bread and salad.
