    2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
    seasoned flour for breading
    butter for sautéing
    1/2 lb. fresh sliced mushrooms
    1/8 tsp. garlic powder
    2-3 tsp. flour
    salt & white pepper to taste
    6-8 oz. dry white wine
    12 oz. evaporated milk or heavy cream
    1/2 cup tomato juice
    pasta of choice

    Divide chicken breasts into 4-6 servings. Dredge in flour; brown in butter.

    Remove chicken from skillet and add mushrooms. Sauté until soft, add flour, garlic powder, salt & white pepper. Cook 2-3 more minutes, stirring constantly.

    Add wine, milk or cream, and tomato juice. Continue cooking until mixture thickens, stirring constantly.

    Return chicken to skillet; cook 10-15 minutes longer.

    Serve over pasta.
