Chicken a la King

List of Ingredients
4-5 tbsp. butter or margarine
3/4 cup chopped green pepper
1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
3 - 4 tbsp flour
1 tsp salt
1 - 2 dash cayenne
1 tbsp. chicken bouillon
3 cups milk or half/half
1½ cups diced cooked chicken
1 small ja chopped pimento
2 beaten egg yolks
1/4 cup sherryRecipe
Melt butter in large skillet and sauté pepper & mushrooms until wilted. Add flour, salt, cayenne & bouillon. Blend well and cook 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly. Add 2½ cups of the milk, cook until thickened, stirring constantly; add chicken & pimento. Combine egg yolks & sherry with remainder of milk; add to skillet mixture and cook, stirring constantly, for 2-3 more minutes, but do NOT allow to boil. Serve over buttered toast points.
