Drive-Your-Neighbor-Nuts Grilled Chicken

List of Ingredients
Rub:
1/4 cup sugar
1 tablespoon salt
2 tablespoon mild chili powder
2 tablespoon hot chili powder
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon Mex. oregano
1 teaspoon coriander
2 teaspoon dry mustard
1 1/2 tablespoon minced lemon zest
1-1/2 teaspoon onion salt
1-1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
2 teaspoon ground ginger
2 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
2 chickens, cut in quartersRecipe
1.Loosen the skin on the chicken pieces, and put a generous amount of the combined spices under the skin. Then sprinkle generous all over the chicken, both sides. Cover and refrigerate at least 4 hours, the longer the better.
2.Start up the grill, cook and smoke until done. Use a little pecan, apple or whatever wood to get the smoke going. The rub is enough to do 2 chickens. Also good on pork.
