Frankfurter Club Salad

6 regular size frankfurters
2 tomatoes
2 cups cooked lima beans
1 cup Swiss, Jack or Cheddar cheese
6 strips cooked bacon
2 to 3 cups torn crisp lettuceRecipe
Cut frankfurters into ½-inch diagonal slices. Cut tomatoes into eighths. Arrange with beans and cubed cheese in separate piles in a large salad bowl. Pour over half the Club Salad Dressing. Marinate in refrigerator several hours. When ready to serve, coarsely crumble bacon into the bowl; add lettuce; toss with additional dressing until ingredients are well coated. 6-8 servings
Club Salad Dressing
½ cup oil
1/3 cup wine vinegar
3 green onions, chopped
1 small garlic clove, minced
¼ teaspoon paprika
½ teaspoon dry mustard
¾ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon dried dill seed
Shake all ingredients together in a covered jar until blended. Makes 1 cup.
