Baked onions are tender and juicy in minutes right in your microwave oven.

Choose 3 or 4 large onions, peeled and cored. In the center of each onion place a beef or chicken bouillon cube, top each with a pat of butter and add a 1/4 cup water. Cover with waxed paper in a microwave safe baking dish. Cook on High for 12 to 15 mins. until done.

You'll find the onions and bouillion cubes have created their own rich sauce. Great with anything from steaks to burgers.
